Recycling
Waste Management's recycling programs include curbside collection of recyclable materials from residential customers, as well as commercial and industrial collection. Through our Recycle America division we also broker the sale of recycled materials in bulk to the end users of such materials. At Waste Management, we seek to develop recycling programs that complement a responsible, comprehensive and cost-effective plan to manage the entire waste system. Our commercial line of recycling offers up to five times per week pick-up of cardboard with our front load line of containers. Other applications of large volume cardboard collection are through our Recycle America division involving the pick-up of cardboard bales or roll-off compactors dedicated to cardboard collection. Waste Management's Recycle America division also offers the collection, processing and resale of the following additional recyclable commodities:
- High Grade Paper Recycling
High Grade Paper Recycling High grade paper recycling allows you to separate uniform paper commodities from your waste stream thus reducing your solid waste disposal costs. This recycling option is applicable to customers that generate large quantities of single grade types of paper such as computer green bar paper or white ledger paper.
- General Office Pak Recycling
Our office pak program is designed for the customer that generates smaller quantities of non-uniform paper products on a daily basis. The program allows a business to reduce their solid waste volumes and divert recyclable materials from being disposed of in a sanitary landfill. The program offers weekly pick-up service with various in house collection options.
- Data Destruction Services
Our data destruction services are offered to customers generating documents containing sensitive or confidential information. Recycle America has a state of the art secure facility to give you the confidence and our personal guarantee that your information is being shredded or disintegrated properly. Whether your business requires this service on a regular basis or just once per year to clean out the file room, Recycle America will accommodate your needs.
